King's Gate Kathie's Call of the Wild

"Tchona"
Dilute Black-Bi Female
Tchona came to King's Gate in December of 2008.

She was whelped October 3, 2008.

Tchona is a non-standard color for an Aussie, but
that's why we love her.  She is called a "Dilute Black"
which means her coat color is gray.  Her sire is also a
dilute black, and is one of the most handsome
Aussies we've ever seen.  Her color is unique, and
although a non-standard color can never compete in
conformation trails, she and her pups turned out to be
some special dogs!

Kathie chose the name "Tchona" which means "Gray
Wolf" in Native American.

Tchona was bred twice with our "Cowboy Blues".

We look forward to some future updates with her new
family.
Tchona's sire is:  Gunner Rocosa - DN14025901  (Dilute Black)

and her dam:  Brakes Hometown Gal - DN19231207  (Blue Merle)
